TNA Impact Wrestling Results (8/26) – New Dollhouse Member, Beer Money In The Same Match, Recent Attacks Explained

Velvet Sky vs. Brooke Tessmacher for the TNA Knockouts Championship is advertised as next.

Jeff Hardy makes his way out to the ring.  Jeff says that it does not matter about the money, the time, the stipulation, or anything related to him.  Jeff then starts the chant “Matt For Champ” before accepting EC3’s special challenge.

We see a flashback to Jeff Jarrett becoming the first King of the Mountain Champion and all of his recent actions including the recent GFW vs TNA shows, his Hall of Fame ceremony, and finally the possibility of Dixie Carter putting him in charge of TNA long-term.

Velvet Sky vs. Brooke (c)

Handshake begins the match.  Strong initial lock-up as well.  Velvet tours Brooke around the turnbuckles and lands a clothesline.  Brooke is able to gain some traction and get a little offense, earning a one-count on Velvet.  Brooke attempts a “Super-Woman Punch” and gets a two-count.  The talent level of these two really differs and it is obvious.  Velvet is very rusty it seems like and has lost all of the momentum and progress she has made in the past few years.  They trade forearms on the outside for a bit, with Brooke getting the upper hand.  Suddenly, The Dollhouse interfere on the outside by attacking Brooke and causing the DQ.

Winner – Brooke by DQ

Taryn Tarell pops up on the tron and introduces Velvet to the new member of The Dollhouse, Rebel!

Bobby Roode talks backstage, promising to prove to everyone just how much he deserves to be in the main event in every show or promotion he steps foot in…especially TNA.

Drew Galloway apparently gets a phone call that enrages him enough to storm off and possibly leave the arena?
