Kevin Owens Being Advertised for WWE Raw Taping in July

WWE NXT Champion Kevin Owens will be facing John Cena at the Elimination Chamber PPV on Sunday night, and according to advertisements from The Allstate Arena in Rosemont, Illinois, Owens is being advertised for the July 6th Raw taping. The advertisement is as follows:

“In a huge Main Event you will see United States Champion John Cena team up with Roman Reigns & Dean Ambrose to take on WWE World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins, The Big Show & NXT Champion Kevin Owens in a 6-Man Tag Team Main Event!”

According to The Wrestling Observer, Former ROH TV Champion Tommaso Ciampa is another indie talent that will be working the WWE tryouts that begin next week in Orlando.

-May 22nd in Manchester, NH drew 5,000 fans (John Cena tour)

-May 23rd in Starke, FL for NXT drew a sellout of 225 fans

-May 23rd in Worcester, MA drew 6,000 fans (John Cena tour)

-May 23rd in Utica, NY drew 3,500 fans (Randy Orton tour)

-May 24th in White Plains, NY drew 3,700 fans (John Cena tour)

-May 24th in Binghamton, NY drew 3,700 fans (Randy Orton tour)

-May 25th on Long Island for RAW drew 9,500 fans

Nick was born and raised in Detroit, Michigan, and lived there until the age of 18, when he decided to pack his flack jacket and move to New York City.

Nick attended New York University and graduated in 2001 with a degree in Drama.

Nick first entered the internet wrestling community back in 2004 when he became the co-host of The Voice of Wrestling Radio Show. From there, Nick made the transition from radio personality to editor when he began working with WrestleZone in 2008.

Nick is a member of two Off-Broadway theatre companies, Another Urban Riff, and the Drama Desk Award winning Godlight Theatre Company. Nick has appeared in over a dozen Off-Broadway plays since he moved to New York City, and has shot several short and feature length films. In 2010, he completed principle photography on a film titled "How to Score Your Life," which also features TNA Knockout ODB.

Inspiration in his life has come from many people including his family, Woody Allen, Steven Spielberg, Jack Nicholson, The Beatles, and of course, Lassie.
