Tons of Seth Rollins Controversy Fallout: Mainstream Media Coverage, Schreiber & Schultz Updates, Backstage News on Rollins Heat & Much More

seth rollinsAs the fallout continues from the recent Seth Rollins nude photo controversy, the following are the latest updates:

-Mainstream media outlets such as Time, The Mirror, E! Online, MTV.com, and Hollywood Life have picked up on the story throughout the week.

-Leighla Schultz, Seth Rollins’ fiance, has changed her Facebook status to “single” following the incident this week.

-Zahra Schreiber, the NXT Diva involved in the controversy, has set her Instagram profile to private since the incident took place, and according to Heavy.com, Schreiber was, and may still be, engaged to Chad Ruhlig, who is the lead singer of metalcore band, “For the Fallen Dreams.”

With regards to internal WWE fallout from the incident, while it was previously reported there is no backstage heat on Seth Rollins as WWE management feels his account was hacked, that might not be entirely true.

According to WWE insider and Reddit user MetsFan4Ever, Rollins might actually face a small fine for the incident, because while WWE officials do believe his social media account was compromised, there are those who believe he might have been responsible for posting the first photo.

While Triple H is said to be against fining Rollins, Vince McMahon feels a fine is necessary as someone needs to be punished for the incident, which of course is generating a ton of mainstream buzz. People within WWE believe Rollins was expected to hold his Money in the Bank briefcase until June, then cash it in to win the WWE World Title, but there are those in WWE who now feel Rollins is a long way from being Champion.
