Smackdown:
1 – Mark Henry/Big Show/Usos d. Dust Brothers/Wyatt Family
This was a really fun match. Crowd lit up (literally) when the Wyatt Family made their entrance. At one point, Bray Wyatt came down from the top of the ramp and had an interesting stare down with Big Show.
2 – Bo Dallas d. Justin Gabriel
Jack Swagger and Colter were at ringside for this. They just sort of stood there and yelled at Bo Dallas. Short match. Gabriel got in a little offense but Dallas picked up the win with the BoDog.
3 – Paige d. Summer Rae
Layla was in Summer’s corner. AJ Lee on commentary. Quick match. Paige picked up the victory by using the Black Widow. As she celebrated, Layla came up from behind for the sneak attack but AJ intervened and hit Layla with the Paige Turner. The usual staring and skipping followed.
4 – International Arm Wrestling Contest
Mark Henry and Rusev have a cool thing going right now. They had the arm wrestling table set up in the ring. Michael Cole did the introduction. Rusev kept going to a powder bag to “help his grip”. Henry won the first go around. Lana informed Cole that Rusev wanted a rematch — with both men using their LEFT HAND INSTEAD (so much drama…) As Henry was about to win, Lana tossed powder in his eyes. Henry went down and Rusev landed a couple good kicks to keep the big man down.
5 – Dolph Ziggler & R-Truth d. The Miz & Damien Mizdow
This was awesome. Dolph came out and said he liked the idea of having a stunt double. Out comes R. Ziggler (R-Truth dressed like Dolph Ziggler — to the T — shirt, trunks, boots). There was a bit (which I’m sure won’t air — probably for commercial) where Ziggler and Truth were mimicking one another’s movements — like the Marx Brother’s infamous mirror scene in Duck Soup. Miz and Mizdow tried to copy them but were stopped. The Mizdow character is hilarious. He copies every single movement The Miz makes. Silly but very entertaining.
