Ricochet Can See Carmelo Hayes Appearing On Multiple WWE Shows, Excited For The New NXT

SmackDown Superstar Ricochet believes that whatever NXT is turning into right now that it will be something better than it was before.

Ricochet recently sat down with Steve Fall of NBC Sports Boston to discuss a wide variety of subjects. When asked about the fan response to the change to NXT 2.0 and the potential tease of the black and gold brand returning, Ricochet said he’s hopeful that something better is coming.

“Honestly, I think, again in this business, it’s forever; it doesn’t stop,” Ricochet said. “It was just trying something new, they’re trying something different, and I think it was just so sudden so quick that people didn’t get a chance to really adjust. I think that was the biggest aspect. Now I think it changing again, not back to what it was, but to something different, something that I feel will be better.

“Because I think now they have a grasp on maybe bringing some RAW and SmackDown people in or maybe some NXT people to RAW or SmackDown, and it really might start being something bigger, who knows, but I think it’s just it’s so cool to be thinking about the future and positive and I’m excited to see what will come from it.”

When asked about former NXT North American Champion Carmelo Hayes, who he recently worked with at NXT Worlds Collide, Ricochet said he believes that Hayes could fit on any WWE brand right now.

“Yeah, I think that Carmelo Hayes could be [on] RAW, SmackDown, NXT. I think everywhere he goes, he’s going to show out and show why he belongs there,” Ricochet said. “So I mean, I don’t see why not. I don’t see why it couldn’t be. If Solo’s walking around here and doing everything. I don’t see why Melo can’t be doing the same thing.”
