Gable Steveson Gives Update On WWE Start Date

Gable Steveson’s WWE debut is imminent.

Olympic gold medalist and three-time NCAA Wrestling World Champion Gable Steveson recently appeared on The MMA Hour with Ariel Helwani and gave an update on when he’s scheduled to begin his WWE run after officially retiring from amateur wrestling. Steveson says that he’ll be starting in the next month and said he expects to be on RAW in the immediate future.

“It’ll start the day WrestleMania hits or after that. My exact start date is in the middle of April so they’re letting me finish school, they’re letting me do my thing, and then Monday Night Raws will either come really soon or shortly after that. I’m planning on being on TV and getting in the ring really really soon, after WrestleMania.”

Steveson signed with WWE in September 2021 and was drafted to the RAW brand during the company’s draft just a month later. The Olympian wrapped up his collegiate wrestling career this past weekend, where he secured his third NCAA Division-1 Heavyweight World Championship. Steveson took off his boots and placed them in the center of the mat following his championship victory, signifying the official end of his amateur career.
