WWE SmackDown Viewership Drops On 2/25, Demo Rating Ranks First Overall

WWE SmackDown viewership decreased on February 25, but the show ranked first overall in the key demographic.

According to Brandon Thurston of Wrestlenomics, 2.114 million viewers tuned in on Friday night; this number is down from last week, when 2.173 million viewers watched the show. In the 18 to 49 demographic, Friday’s show scored a 0.57 rating, which is up from the 0.54 rating (704,000 viewers) it drew on February 18.

Thurston also noted that SmackDown ranked first overall in the demographic on cable on Friday night.

This week’s episode, which came just a few days after the Elimination Chamber premium live event, featured the contract signing for the championship unification match between Roman Reigns and Brock Lesnar. Plus, Charlotte Flair confronted Roman Reigns, and Johnny Knoxville made it clear that he wants a shot at Sami Zayn’s WWE Intercontinental Championship.
