Report: IMPACT Wrestling TV Tapings Hit Hard By COVID-19 Protocols

IMPACT Wrestling held two sessions of TV tapings over the weekend, and the company reportedly dealt with a lot of obstacles in doing so.

Per Mike Johnson of PWInsider, plenty of talent and staff couldn’t make the tapings due to medical protocols stemming from COVID-19. Johnson cites a source who stated that these issues were “the worst they had seen” in quite some time, as the absences forced a number of changes to the content booked for the tapings. To clarify, the missing talent and staff were held out either due to testing positive or coming into close contact with someone who did.

The two sessions were held on January 21 (Dallas, Texas) and January 22 (Pembroke Pines, Florida); spoilers for the Friday show are available here, while spoilers for Saturday’s taping can be found here.

WrestleZone will provide more details as they become available.
