Jonathan Gresham will defend the Ring of Honor World Championship at GCW‘s “The Wrld on GCW” event from the sold-out Hammerstein Ballroom on January 23.
Though ROH is going on hiatus in the first quarter of 2022, Gresham, who won the title at the company’s Final Battle: End of an Era pay-per-view, will continue to represent the promotion. He retained the title in a Pure Rules Match against AJ Gray at GCW Blood on the Hills, and now he’ll face another challenger in Blake Christian. “All Heart” called Gresham out after his own victory at GCW Blood on the Hills; he beat Alex Zayne at the show on December 17.
