WWE NXT Viewership Slightly Drops On 9/21 After Initial Surge For ‘2.0’ Revamp

The viewership for WWE NXT dropped on September 22, but the decrease wasn’t as noteworthy as one would expect.

Brandon Thurston of Wrestlenomics reports that 746,000 viewers watched the show on Tuesday, which is slightly down from the 770,000 viewers who watched the show last week to see the launch of the revamped brand.

Thurston also notes that the show drew a 0.20 rating in the 18 to 49 demographic, a small drop from last week’s 0.21 rating in the same range.

This week’s show featured an NXT Cruiserweight Championship match, in which Roderick Strong defeated Kushida to win the title. In the main event, NXT Champion Tommaso Ciampa and Bron Breakker defeated Pete Dunne and Ridge Holland.
