Title This: Slammy Awards Raw Reaction

Opening Segment:

"Tell me I did not just see that Award:" Jim Ross

After the award, Ross and Cole do a rap off, with Booker T in the ring at this moment. Both sound pretty awful, as Ross definitely forgets his words. Ross does a J-R-oonie and the segment ends after an awful 18 minutes of television time. Tell me what the point was of this segment? Nothing. The second straight three hour Raw starts off with Cole-Ross garbage. It is played and has no long term meaning to it anymore.

Holy Sh*t Award: Big Show and Mark Henry: Ring Collapses

Big Show vs. Wade Barrett:

What I Liked:

After a half hour, we finally get our first match. We pick up Barrett beating down Show on the outside. A table is set up, as they tease moves from it for the first few minutes. The pace was more of a brawl and not an actual wrestling match. Barrett vs. Show was an odd pairing, but they did okay with it. They were not given much time to build here.

What I Disliked:

Bad ending to what could have meant something for the PPV. Have Orton come out, have Henry interfere, something! They did neither, and ended it with a DQ. Show and Barrett just seemed a bit off from one another in the match, worrying about the props over putting on a solid match.

"Pipe Bomb Award": CM Punk

-Road Dogg Jesse James came out to present the award which was nice to see him back on WWE TV. He has always been one of the good guys in the company.

-CM Punk had a mannequin dressed as John Laurinitis as a Dynamic Dude. He thanks everyone, and tosses it to a video package mocking Laurinitis and his character. It was quite the video, highlighting his old days in the ring, and making fun of his lack of charisma. It further builds the hatred between Punk and Laurinitis. I can see Jericho beingn Laurinitis' "boy." That would make him more relevant, especially since Jericho is the complete opposite of Laurinitis.
